Come to discover the Ardeche to stay at Actinidias campsite, in the heart of the Chassezac gorges.
There are a multitude of outdoor activities available to you.
Climbing
In the town of Casteljau.there is access to more than 500 climbing routes, some accessible to beginners, and others only to experienced climbers.
Various climbing sites are less than 10 minutes walk from the campsite: Mazet, La Vire aux Oiseaux, Renep, Endieu. The block site is 10 minutes from the campsite.

Swimming
When temperatures rise, jump into the water!
It's also time to enjoy our pebble beach borders the river Chassezac (a tributary of the Ardèche). Sunbathe, fish, canoe kayak or raft and of course, relax in the water...
Hiking and walking
The region is rich with many hiking trails accessible to all. Some in the middle of shale or sandstone and near the campsite in the maze of limestone. From the the campsite you can access several hiking routes on the peninsula of Casteljau. Ceratines offer breathtaking views.
A 5 minute drive from the campsite by car takes you to the famous Paiolive forest. Wood shaped by erosion or limestone rocks take very different forms ; it's up to you to let your imagination work. Here a bear and a lion, there an elephant ...
Canyoning - Paragliding - Speleology - MTB
Many other activities are available to you such as caving, mountain biking, canyoning or even paragliding.
Located 25 kilometers from campsite. Since 2014, there is the CAVE Pont d'Arc and the famous cave Chauvet, a UNESCO site with cave art several thousand years old.
